Job summary

CLFC Healthcare and Communications is assembling a BCBA-led team to support Anne Arundel County Public Schools in their Behavioral and Mental Health Residency Model. The residency places BCBAs, RBTs and a licensed mental health provider in twelve elementary schools, delivering FBAs, BIPs and in-class coaching.

You will conduct FBAs, develop BIPs, supervise RBTs to BACB requirements, and coach teachers within the district’s school sites.

Qualifications

• Current BCBA certification from BACB.
• Current Maryland LBA license.
• Experience conducting FBAs and developing BIPs.
• Experience providing school-based behavioral services.
• Experience coaching and supporting educational personnel.
• Ability to clear the background checks required by Maryland law.

Responsibilities

• Conduct or support Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBAs) for students with significant behavioral needs.
• Develop, revise, implement and monitor Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) based on data and function of behavior.
• Provide direct observation, assessment and consultation in classrooms and other school settings.
• Model evidence-based behavioral strategies and support replacement behaviors.
• Supervise Registered Behavior Technicians to BACB requirements with feedback and fidelity monitoring.
• Coach and give performance feedback to teachers and paraeducators and administrators.
• Support school teams with crisis prevention, de-escalation planning and post-incident problem solving.
• Participate in IEP meetings, MTSS meetings and manifestation discussions on request.
• Collaborate with district leadership on implementation and fidelity.
