Job summary

Scottsdale USD 48 Hopi Elementary School in Phoenix is seeking a Childcare Provider 2 for a full-time split-shift role supporting the before- and after-school program. The position runs 6:45-8:45 a.m.

and 2:15-6:15 p.m., with a commitment to safe supervision and engaging activities. You will work under the Childcare Specialist, maintain positive rapport with students, and complete state-mandated training hours annually.

Qualifications

• Must meet staff qualifications to be a teacher-caregiver under the Arizona Administrative Code.
• Applicants must be 18 years of age or older and provide documentation of one of the listed options.
• All listed education/credential options are acceptable per the ad.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain good rapport with students, employees and community.
• Supervise the children at all times.
• Maintain safe and prepared activities prior to arrival and during supervision.
• Annually complete 18 training hours per Health Services regulations.
• Administer first aid when necessary.
• Other duties as assigned.
