Job summary

The Scottsdale Unified School District is seeking a Childcare Provider 2 to assist the Childcare Specialist with planning before and after school activities and supervising children in a structured program.

This role requires maintaining safety, delivering respectful care, and meeting annual training expectations to comply with health and district policies while supporting a positive learning environment for students.

Qualifications

• Must meet staff qualifications to be a teacher-caregiver under AZ rules.
• Provide documentation of required age (18+) and credentials or education.
• Background in early childhood education or related fields is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain good rapport with students, employees and community.
• Supervise the children at all times.
• Administer first aid when necessary.
• Maintain behavior standards in line with district policy.
• Keep Childcare Specialist informed of student activities.
• Share and participate in cleanup activities.
• Complete 18 training hours annually as required by Health Services regulations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

High school diploma or equivalent with 6 months childcare experience

12 college credits incl 6 early childhood and 6 months experience

N.A.C., C.D.A., C.C.P., or CPC credential

Associate or bachelor in early childhood/child development
