Scottsdale Unified School District is seeking a Childcare Provider 2 to assist the Childcare Specialist in planning the before and after school program and supervise students in a safe, structured environment.

The role requires maintaining rapport with students and staff, ensuring site readiness, and adhering to district policies. The candidate must meet state-curriculum qualifications and hold necessary certifications or credentials.

Qualifications

• Must meet staff qualifications to be a teacher-caregiver under Arizona rules.
• Present documentation of being 18+ years old and one of: HS diploma or GED with 6 months childcare experience; 12 college credits including 6 in early childhood and 6 months experience; NAC/CD A/CCP/CPC credential; or an associate/bachelor in early childhood or related field.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain good rapport with students, employees and community.
• Supervise the children at all times.
• Administer first aid when necessary.
• Maintain behavior consistent with district policy.
• Keep the specialist informed of student activities.
• Share and participate in clean up activities.
