Job summary

Cortica is seeking a School-Based Behavioral Technician (SBT) to provide 1:1 behavior support for students with autism and neurodevelopmental differences in school settings. You will collaborate with educators and Cortica’s clinical team to help students succeed during the school day.

The role follows the school calendar with a Monday–Friday schedule, 7:30 AM to 3:45 PM, and a minimum of 4 paid hours per day when assigned. We offer comprehensive benefits for full-time teammates and paid training.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of work experience in ABA/Behavior Technician roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must have reliable transportation and ability to travel between work locations.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct one-on-one and group-based ABA services in school settings.
• Implement individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs) and skill acquisition programs aligned with IEPs and school goals.
• Collaborate with school teams to integrate behavioral strategies into daily routines.
• Support communication, social skills, self-regulation, and self-care as appropriate in the school context.
• Collect data on student progress and behaviors; complete documentation and incident reports promptly.
• Attend classroom observations, team meetings, and school-based training sessions.
• Follow school safety, de-escalation, and mandated reporting procedures.
• Travel between assigned school sites within the service area.
