Job summary

YMCA of Catawba Valley is seeking a School Age Program Coordinator to manage the daily operations of before/after/summer programs. You will ensure smooth delivery, support staff, and implement grant-funded initiatives.

The role emphasizes program supervision, safety, curriculum planning, and effective communication with families, while maintaining licensing compliance and reporting obligations.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in Education, Youth Development, Early Childhood Education, or related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in program coordination or management.
• Experience with grant-funded programs and compliance is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations of before/after/summer program.
• Coordinate and schedule program events, activities, and sessions.
• Ensure compliance with grant objectives and licensing rules.
• Provide guidance and support to group leaders and staff.
• Monitor participant attendance and progress; communicate with parents.
