Catalyst Family Inc. in Irvine, CA is seeking an Associate Teacher to support planning and implementation of developmentally appropriate curriculum for children fromInfant to school-age depending on location.

You will create, implement, and maintain enriching learning environments that promote positive child development and safety. The role requires collaboration with fellow staff, strong communication with families, and adherence to safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• 12-24 postsecondary units in ECE, CD, or related field with passing grades of C- or better
• Associate Teacher Permit or above issued by the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing
• 6-12 months of experience in a group care environment with a consistent age group preferred
• CPR & First Aid certification preferred and bilingual/multilingual skills a plus

Responsibilities

• Create and implement developmentally appropriate curriculum linked to children's interests
• Maintain enriching, age-appropriate learning environments with quality experiences
• Provide excellent customer service by building authentic connections with children, families, schools, and staff
• Ensure children's safety through proper supervision and healthy habits
• Collaborate with staff to deliver high-quality programs and creative workplaces
