Job summary

Catalyst Family Inc. is seeking Associate Teachers to plan and implement developmentally appropriate curricula for infants to school-age children across centers.

You will create engaging learning environments, monitor safety, and build respectful relationships with children, families, and the community. Successful candidates will have ECE/CD units or an equivalent credential and a California Associate Teacher Permit or higher.

Qualifications

• 12-24 postsecondary semester units in ECE/CD or related field with passing grades of C- or better.
• Associate Teacher Permit or above issued by the CA Commission on Teacher Credentialing.
• 6-12 months of group care experience preferred.
• CPR & First Aid certification preferred.
• Bilingual/multilingual ability a plus depending on center needs.

Responsibilities

• Create and implement developmentally appropriate curriculum connected to children's interests.
• Create enriched, age-appropriate learning environments and experiences.
• Provide authentic, culturally responsive connections with children, families, schools, and communities.
• Ensure supervision, healthy habits, safety, and compliance at all times.
• Collaborate with staff to deliver high-quality programs and positive working environments.
