Job summary

Catalyst Family Inc. is seeking an Associate Teacher to support planning and implementing developmentally appropriate curricula for children from infant to school age depending on location.

You will help create engaging learning environments, supervise children, and support social-emotional development. Responsibilities include collaborating with staff, maintaining safety, following health guidelines, and documenting observations.

Qualifications

• 12-24 postsecondary units in ECE/CD or related field with passing grades of C- or better.
• Associate Teacher Permit or above issued by the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing.
• CPR & First Aid certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Create and implement developmentally appropriate curriculum connected to children's interests.
• Create and maintain inclusive, age-appropriate learning environments and experiences.
• Provide excellent customer service through authentic connections with children, families, schools, and communities.
• Ensure children's health and safety through supervision, positive interactions, and compliance with guidelines.
• Collaborate with staff to deliver high-quality programs and a positive work environment.
