Job summary

Catalyst Family Inc. seeks an Associate Teacher to support planning and implementation of Catalyst's programming for children from infancy to school age. You will create and maintain age-appropriate curricula, foster social-emotional development, and supervise children to ensure a safe, healthy environment.

Ideal candidates bring ECE coursework, a relevant permit, and strong teamwork skills. The role offers full-time hours, benefits, and opportunities for growth within a supportive teaching

Qualifications

• 12–24 postsecondary units in ECE, CD, or related field with C- or better
• Associate Teacher Permit or higher issued by the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing
• CPR & First Aid certification preferred
• Bilingual/multilingual preference based on center needs

Responsibilities

• Create and implement developmentally appropriate curriculum tied to children’s interests
• Maintain enriching, age-appropriate learning environments
• Provide authentic, culturally responsive interactions with children, families, and staff
• Ensure health and safety through supervision and positive behaviors
• Collaborate with staff to deliver high-quality programs and a positive workplace
