Job summary

Catalyst Family Inc. is seeking an Associate Teacher to support planning and implementing developmentally appropriate programming for children across age groups.

You will create engaging activities, foster social-emotional development, and ensure safe supervision in a supportive classroom setting. Responsibilities include building enriching environments, collaborating with colleagues, and maintaining positive relationships with families and the community.

Qualifications

• 12-24 postsecondary semester or equivalent quarter units in ECE, CD, or related field with passing grades of C- or better.
• Associate Teacher Permit or above issued by the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing.

Responsibilities

• Create and implement developmentally appropriate curriculum connected to children’s interests.
• Create and maintain age-appropriate, enriched learning environments and quality experiences.
• Provide excellent customer service through authentic, culturally responsive connections with children, families, and staff.
• Maintain healthy, safe supervision and compliance for all children.
• Collaborate with staff to deliver high-quality programs and a collaborative workplace.
