Job summary

UVM Health is seeking a Scheduling Coordinator to assist in coordinating staff scheduling within the Patient Care Operations division and to prepare unit schedules and staffing reports. The role includes maintaining a computerized patient classification system to provide a basis for staffing recommendations.

The successful candidate will have high school completion, scheduling experience, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• High School diploma required; 1 year of office experience or secretarial training preferred.
• Completion of MS Word, Excel, and database experience per CVPH requirements or completion of CVPH Excel Course within 2 weeks of hire with instructor assessment.
• Prior scheduling experience is required.
• Positive interpersonal communication skills; written and oral required.
• Initiative to complete tasks with minimal direction.
• Ability to organize and manage complex scheduling needs.
• Regular full-time or regular part-time employees must be able to advance to Level II within 6 months post-orientation.
