Job summary

JP Carroll Roofing in Connecticut is seeking a Scheduling Specialist to join our on-site contact center. You will manage a mix of inbound/outbound calls, chats, and emails from warm leads and convert conversations into high-quality appointments for roofing and home services.

The role emphasizes performance-driven results, with opportunities for growth in a fast-paced environment. Prior call center or appointment-setting experience is preferred, and you will work onsite in a structured team

Qualifications

Prior experience in a call center, customer service, inside sales, or appointment-setting role.
Strong phone presence with the ability to influence, persuade, and guide conversations.
Balance service mindset with performance-driven goals and incentives.
Experience using CRM and phone systems (or willingness to learn quickly).

Responsibilities

Handle a high volume of inbound and outbound calls, chats, and emails from warm leads.
Convert inbound inquiries into scheduled appointments for roofing and home services.
Conduct proactive outbound dialing to follow up with leads and maximize conversion.
Build rapport with homeowners and explain next steps and expectations.
Ensure appointments involve all decision-makers whenever possible.
Document accurately in CRM (ServiceTitan) and phone system (Five9).
Meet or exceed performance metrics related to appointment setting and productivity.
