Job summary

JP Carroll Roofing in Connecticut is seeking a Scheduling Specialist to join our on-site contact center. You will manage a mix of inbound/outbound calls, chats, and emails from warm leads and convert conversations into high-quality appointments for roofing and home services.

The role emphasizes performance-driven results, with opportunities for growth in a fast-paced environment. Prior call center or appointment-setting experience is preferred, and you will work onsite in a structured team

Qualifications

• Prior experience in a call center, customer service, inside sales, or appointment-setting role.
• Strong phone presence with the ability to influence, persuade, and guide conversations.
• Balance service mindset with performance-driven goals and incentives.
• Experience using CRM and phone systems (or willingness to learn quickly).

Responsibilities

• Handle a high volume of inbound and outbound calls, chats, and emails from warm leads.
• Convert inbound inquiries into scheduled appointments for roofing and home services.
• Conduct proactive outbound dialing to follow up with leads and maximize conversion.
• Build rapport with homeowners and explain next steps and expectations.
• Ensure appointments involve all decision-makers whenever possible.
• Document accurately in CRM (ServiceTitan) and phone system (Five9).
• Meet or exceed performance metrics related to appointment setting and productivity.
