Job summary

Qualifications

• Scheduling and data entry experience preferred.
• Able to read, write and speak English.
• Detail oriented and strong customer service skills.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications.

Responsibilities

• Completes initial registration information in the scheduling system following established policies and procedures.
• Evaluates therapist and resident schedule to coordinate resident appointments on behalf of all departments.
• Prioritizes duties and schedules workflow to facilitate production of accurate, efficient and timely output.
• Adapts to changing circumstances and scheduling procedures.
• Schedules and reschedules appointments and documents reasons, with email communications with staff.
• Communicates clearly with patients, families and hospital staff.
• Maintains professional and confidential communications.
• Disseminates schedules to appropriate hospital staff.
• Completes appointment bookings and reschedules as needed.
• Raises scheduling problems to supervision.
• Receives all calls professionally.
• Observes inpatient service policies.
• Schedules Clinic appointments, reschedules as needed.
• Assists administration with special projects.
• Demonstrates time management skills and supports departmental organization.
