Job summary

BayCare Health Systemis seeking a Scheduler to provide excellent customer service while coordinating patient appointments across multiple BayCare locations in Florida. The role requires scheduling procedures, collecting patient data, and ensuring payer guidelines are followed.

The successful candidate will have at least one year of experience in a business, healthcare, or customer service setting and possess a High School diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Schedule procedures and appointments accurately and efficiently.
• Collect and verify patient demographics and insurance information.
• Provide detailed preparation instructions for clinical exams.
• Document patient responses to clinical questions.
• Communicate scheduling updates with physician offices and hospital teams.
• Support authorization and payer guideline adherence.
• Perform clerical duties including answering phones and data entry.
• Assist with workflow coordination and patient inquiries.
• Travel between BayCare locations as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Position Details

• Location: Bay Area Gl Endo and Liver Specialists
• Status: Full Time (non-exempt)
• Shift: Monday - Friday 8am-5pm
• Weekend Work: None
