Job summary

Paycom - ATS is seeking a Seasonal Security & Scanning Lead in Waterville Valley, NH. The role oversees ticket scanning operations, leads security personnel, and coordinates training with Lift Operations Manager to ensure safe lift use and guest satisfaction.

The position focuses on frontline support, incident response, and maintaining equipment. You will drive customer service excellence while upholding policies and procedures in a winter resort setting.

Qualifications

• Experience in security or guest service preferred.
• Ability to lead a small team and coordinate with other departments.
• Willingness to train staff and ensure safety procedures are followed.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily ticket scanning operations and provide front-line support.
• Lead security and parking staff; respond to guest security incidents at lifts/buildings.
• Assist with hiring, training and scheduling of security/scanning team with Lift Operations Manager.
• Supervise scanning team to deliver excellent customer service and promote Freedom to Ski.
• Maintain scanning equipment for daily use.
• Develop winter training plans for safe lift operations, scanning, logs and reporting.
• Monitor teammate performance and provide feedback and escalations when needed.
• Address guest questions, comments and resolve with timely solutions.
• Adhere to laws, regulations, and company policies.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Oversee daily operations of the ticket scanning process including collaboration with other departments; provide front line support.
• Oversee the safety and security of the buildings and parking lots, lead a team of security / parking staff, respond to incidents involving guest security at the lifts or in the buildings.
• Assist with hiring, support, training and scheduling of the security and scanning team in conjunction with the Lift Operations Manager and other departmental managers who participate in the job sharing program
• Effectively supervise and coach a team of ticket scanners to provide great customer service while promoting the Freedom to Ski
• Maintain scanning equipment for daily use.
• In coordination with the Lift Operations Manager, develop and execute winter training plans for safe lift operations, ticket and pass scanning, daily logs and needed reporting, authorized-channel communications, and department and company policies and procedures.
• Monitor and document teammate performance and behavior to provide meaningful feedback and direction, providing recognition, correction action or escalations if necessary
• Receive and assess guest questions, comments and complaints providing timely resolutions
• Maintain knowledge of and adherence to all applicable laws, regulations, and company policies
