Lead Ticket Checker – Stowe Mountain Resort (Winter Seasonal 2026/27)

Join our team for the upcoming winter season and help provide guests with a memorable experience while overseeing the daily operations of the ticket scanning department.

Job Summary

As a Ticket Checker Lead, you will supervise the daily operations and safety of the scanning department, handle escalation for equipment or ticket issues, and support your team through coaching and performance monitoring. You will work outdoors in alpine weather conditions and lead staff toward safety and efficiency.

Job Responsibilities
  • Supervise daily operations and safety of the scanning department.
  • Serve as a point of escalation for scanning equipment issues, ticket/pass problems, and misuse.
  • Monitor daily job performance, provide coaching and document discipline.
  • Monitor staffing levels and make adjustments as needed.
  • Report safety incidents to the manager immediately.
  • Plan and assist with orientations, trainings, and payroll.
  • Perform audits to track team performance.
  • Work with lift operations to ensure efficient maze setup.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements
  • Excellent communication skills (English) and ability to present information in group settings.
  • Ability to lead and motivate others.
  • Intermediate or above skiing and riding skills.
  • Willing and able to work outdoors in all alpine weather conditions.
  • Ability to stand for the entire shift.
  • Ability to multi‑task and make solid decisions.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
  • Willingness to learn company computer applications.
