The role focuses on accurately weighing trucks/railcars, recording weights, and issuing weight tickets while maintaining precise records and providing professional customer service to drivers and customers.

Responsibilities include operating scales, recording data, and ensuring safety policies are followed in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Operate truck/railcar scales and accurately weigh incoming and outgoing vehicles.
• Record and verify truck/railcar weights, load information, and other required documentation.
• Prepare and issue weight tickets, scale receipts, and related paperwork.
• Maintain accurate daily records and enter information into the company’s computer system.
• Communicate professionally with truck drivers, customers, dispatchers, and other team members.
• Verify load information and report discrepancies or irregularities to management.
• Follow company procedures, safety policies, and applicable weighing regulations.
• Keep the work area clean, organized, and professional.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

EXCEL Group is looking for a dependable, detail-oriented, and organzied Weighmaster to join our team at a maintenance project site in Geismar, LA. The Weighmaster is responsible for accurately weighing incoming and outgoing trucks/railcars, recording weights, preparing weight tickets, maintaining accurate records, and providing professional customer service to drivers and customers. The ideal candidate is reliable, comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, and committed to accuracy and safety.
