Job summary

Farmer Focus is seeking a Scale Operator at the Acorn Facility to ensure productivity and cost efficiency while meeting customer specifications. You will lead a team, enforce food safety programs, and support performance, safety, and scheduling.

This on-site 2nd shift role reports to the Production Supervisor and requires basic math, data entry, and the ability to work overtime, including some weekends.

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred.
• General mathematical ability for basic arithmetic.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English.
• Operate production and office equipment including scale, 10-key calculator, copier, fax and computer.
• Pass drug and alcohol screening post-offer; authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team to maintain high productivity and cost efficiency while meeting specs.
• Enforce food safety programs and Farmer Focus policies.
• Support performance development, safety, and scheduling.
• Enter data and operate production and office equipment as required.
• Complete paperwork accurately and on time.
• Read and interpret paperwork in English; communicate clearly with supervisors.
• Perform basic data analysis and math calculations.
• Work assigned hours, overtime, and some weekends as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
