Job summary

Farmer Focus is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Technician for our Acorn, on-site facility. This full-time 2nd shift role requires performing routine and preventive maintenance on processing plant machinery, repairing and installing equipment, and ensuring safe, efficient operation of all systems.

You will respond to urgent maintenance needs within 30 minutes and work across departments in a challenging poultry production setting.

Qualifications

• Proven industrial, manufacturing maintenance or electrical experience.
• Knowledge of safety practices.
• Strong mechanical, electrical troubleshooting and repair skills.
• Ability to read, write, and comprehend English.
• Ability to work in poultry processing environment.
• New team members must pass a drug, alcohol and background screening post‑offer and prior to start of employment.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine preventative maintenance on machinery and equipment.
• Repair, install, adjust, and maintain machinery and equipment throughout the processing plant.
• Disassemble equipment to remove parts and repair.
• Inspect parts for defects and malfunction signs.
• Maintain clean and safe work areas.
• Respond to emergency maintenance needs and call-ins within 30 minutes.
• Use tools and testing devices as required.
• Work in all plant departments, including cold, damp, and changing conditions.
