Job summary

Maker's Pride is hiring for a Scaler to accurately weigh ingredients for dough mixtures in the Mixing department. The role supports production quality and requires attention to detail, basic math, and ability to work on the 2nd shift in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities include preparing scales, selecting ingredients, weighing to formulas, recording data, and maintaining GMP practices. Overtime and weekends may apply.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Zero to one year experience in a manufacturing environment; baking industry a plus.
• Basic math and reading skills required.

Responsibilities

• Check the schedule to determine ingredients and amounts to be scaled/weighed.
• Prepare scales for weighing process.
• Select ingredients for dough mixture and weigh accurately per formulas.
• Record shift and lot numbers on bags.
• Maintain cleanliness and GMP compliance.
• Communicate changes to next shift and supervisors.
