Ventura Coastal is seeking a Scale Operator at the Visalia Plant in Visalia, CA. The role involves accurate weighing, data entry in CitrOS, and acting as gatekeeper for entry to the facility during shifts.

The position requires a High School diploma and 2–3 years in industrial security, with proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP systems. Bilingual Spanish is a plus, and shifts include 1st, 2nd, and 3rd with differential pay for the later shifts.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required with 2-3 years in industrial security or related field.
• Experience as a Scale Operator preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP systems required.
• Proficient with CitrOS to manage scale operator responsibilities and daily activity reports.
• Ability to work in a team and communicate effectively in writing and verbally.
• Bilingual Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operate scale and weigh/measure/count products for inbound/outbound shipments.
• Enter data into CitrOS and required formats, ensuring accuracy.
• Monitor BOLs and tanker inspection forms for accuracy.
• Direct trucks and assist drivers to ensure smooth traffic flow.
• Maintain safety procedures and report hazards to supervision.
• Assist with security duties as needed and cover breaks.
• Maintain cleanliness and proper operation of scale house equipment.
