Job summary

Ventura Coastal is seeking a Shipping Clerk for the Visalia plant. The role covers 1st shift with duties including assembling orders, preparing products for shipment, and issuing bills of lading. You will also enter data into Citros and support the Visalia plant as needed.

The position requires a High School diploma and at least two years of clerical shipping/receiving experience, with proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP systems. Weekend shifts may be required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma required; post-secondary in computer/business a plus.
• Two years clerical shipping/receiving experience required.
• Experience with Microsoft Office and ERP systems preferred.
• Ability to work all shifts including weekends.

Responsibilities

• Assemble orders and prepare products for shipment.
• Prepare bills of lading for shipments and record items loaded.
• Post shipments to customer orders and update portal documents.
• Maintain shipping records (goods returned, pallets, etc.).
• Ensure adequate shipping material inventory and monitor tanker arrivals.
• Enter essential data into Citros system and assist Visalia plant as needed.
