Job summary

Ventura Coastal in Visalia, CA, seeks a Finish Product Packaging Operator to support drum filling, blending, and packaging according to HACCP and safety standards. You will work under the shift supervisor and may cross-train with other operator roles.

This full-time position requires basic computer use, English proficiency, and a forklift license or ability to obtain one; 3rd shift 10pm–6:30am with overtime/weekend potential. Candidates with a year of plant manufacturing experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Basic computer skills to operate a touch screen.
• Must read, speak and write English.
• Forklift license required or ability to obtain one.
• High school graduate or equivalent desirable.
• Prefer at least 1 year experience in a plant manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Food Safety is the responsibility of all Ventura Coastal manufacturing employees.
• Responsible to a specific CCP in the HACCP plan: CCP #2 – Juice Load Out or Packaging Screens; CCP #3 – Receipt of empty or full tanker; loading of tanker; CCP #4 – Packaging Integrity.
• Mix juice and ingredients according to specifications.
• Operate drum filling equipment to fill drums according to specification and support packaging to follow regulations.
