Job summary

Coastal Waste & Recycling Inc in Naples, FL, is seeking a Scale Attendant to operate the truck scale system, process customer transactions, verify materials, and maintain accurate records at a fast-paced site.

You will work with Operations leadership and dispatch to ensure safety, efficiency, and professional service, while delivering accurate data entry and strong customer support. Prior scale experience and bilingual skills are a plus.

Qualifications

• One year or more in customer service, admin support, cashiering, logistics, dispatch, scale operations, or similar.
• Strong data entry accuracy and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
• Basic computer proficiency including MS Office and data entry systems.
• Experience with truck scale software, cash handling, and environmental services is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operate computerized truck scale systems to accurately process inbound and outbound vehicles.
• Verify customer information, materials, and transaction documentation.
• Process scale tickets, receipts, invoices, and customer transactions accurately.
• Collect payments and process cash, card, checks, and account transactions when applicable.
• Provide guidance on disposal procedures, materials accepted, pricing, and facility operations.
• Maintain accurate transaction records, reports, and supporting documentation.
• Communicate with Operations leadership and other teams to support daily operations.
• Maintain a clean, organized scale house and support a safe, professional environment.
