Job summary

Coastal Waste & Recycling is seeking a Scale Attendant to support post-collection operations by accurately processing customer transactions, operating the truck scale system, and ensuring excellent service from entry to exit at our Florida facilities.

The role involves verifying information, maintaining records, handling payments, and guiding customers on disposal procedures while maintaining a safe, professional scale house environment.

Qualifications

• 1+ years in customer service, administrative support, cashiering, transportation, dispatch, or scale operations.
• High accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Basic computer proficiency including Microsoft Office and data entry systems.

Responsibilities

• Operate computerized truck scale systems to process inbound/outbound vehicles.
• Verify customer information, account details, materials and transactions.
• Process scale tickets, receipts, invoices, and payments.
• Provide guidance on disposal procedures, materials accepted, and pricing.
• Maintain accurate transaction records and reporting.
• Coordinate with Operations leadership and equipment operators for safe, efficient operations.
