Job summary

Coastal Waste & Recycling is seeking a Scale Attendant to support post-collection operations. You will weigh trucks, process customer transactions, verify materials, and maintain records to ensure a safe and professional experience at the facility.

Ideal candidates have 1+ year in customer service or related roles, strong data-entry accuracy, and excellent communication. Bilingual skills (English/Spanish or English/Creole) are a plus in our fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience in customer service, admin support, cashiering, or similar.
• Strong data entry accuracy and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Bilingual abilities (English/Spanish or English/Creole) are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operate truck scale systems to process inbound/outbound vehicles.
• Verify customer information, materials, and transaction details.
• Process scale tickets, receipts, invoices, and payments.
• Provide guidance on disposal procedures and facility operations.
• Maintain accurate transaction records and reports.
• Support daily operations with coordination and clerical tasks.
