Job summary

Coastal Waste & Recycling Inc. seeks a Scale Attendant to operate the truck scale system, process customer transactions, verify materials, and maintain precise records. You will work closely with Operations leadership and dispatch to ensure safety, efficiency, and professional service.

The role emphasizes accurate data handling, cash/card transactions, and guiding customers on disposal procedures while upholding a welcoming, organized scale house environment.

Qualifications

• 1+ year in customer service, admin support, cashiering, dispatch, or related role.
• Strong data entry accuracy and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Basic computer skills including MS Office and data-entry systems.
• Organizational and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Operate truck scale systems to accurately process inbound/outbound vehicles.
• Verify customer information, materials, and transaction details.
• Process scale tickets, receipts, invoices, and payments as applicable.
• Maintain accurate records and reporting for daily operations.
• Provide guidance on disposal procedures, materials accepted, and pricing.
