Capital Waste Services is hiring a Scale House Attendant to accurately weigh and document incoming and outgoing loads at our facility. You will serve as the first point of contact for customers, drivers, and vendors, handle payments, issue receipts, and ensure compliance with company policies.

This role requires attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to work Saturdays or holidays as needed, with opportunities to grow within a safety‑conscious and customer‑focused team in Georgia.

Qualifikationen

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of customer service or cash handling preferred.
• Experience in waste management is a plus.
• Cash handling and balancing receipts experience preferred.

Aufgaben

• Operate scale systems to weigh inbound and outbound vehicles.
• Verify customer information, materials, and disposal destinations.
• Process cash, credit card, and other payments; issue receipts.
• Balance daily cash receipts and reconcile transactions.
• Maintain accurate waste and customer records.
• Direct customers and drivers to disposal or recycling areas.
• Answer calls and provide site information.
• Maintain organized filing and cleanliness of the scale house.
