Job summary

City of New York seeks a SCADA Support Specialist for its Bureau of Wastewater Treatment to manage and support SCADA systems across facilities. The role focuses on SCADA configuration, troubleshooting, and ongoing maintenance of OT environments, with duties including collaboration with IT and field teams to ensure reliable telemetry and control.

The candidate will maintain security standards, document processes, and travel as required to support multiple facilities within the five boroughs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering or related field plus four years of related IT automation/monitoring experience; or
• Eight years of related experience; or
• Equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for SCADA systems, troubleshooting and resolution.
• Design, implement, and maintain SCADA systems components and software/hardware.
• Configure and test SCADA software/hardware to ensure proper operation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve SCADA issues.
• Maintain day-to-day OT network, data backup, security, and telemetry systems.
