Job summary

Veolia North America seeks a subject matter expert for controls systems support across surface water and wastewater facilities. You will maintain SCADA hardware and software, ensure cyber security compliance, and drive preventative maintenance to safeguard reliable operations.

The role requires troubleshooting, data acquisition management, and coordination with vendors and internal teams, including after-hours emergencies and remote locations as needed.

Qualifications

• B.S. degree in Engineering or related field or 5+ years of experience.
• Experience in water or wastewater treatment plants or facilities recommended.
• Experience with PLC/HMI systems required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and troubleshoot SCADA control systems for surface water and wastewater plants.
• Ensure cybersecurity compliance with Veolia and industry standards.
• Manage data acquisition and ensure data quality for operations.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on control systems hardware and software.
• Support emergency response and after-hours coverage as needed.
• Coordinate with vendors for work on RTU modules, VFDs, pumps and instrumentation.
