Job summary

Veolia North America, LLC is seeking an on-site Control Systems Expert to support surface water and wastewater treatment operations in New York. You will maintain and troubleshoot SCADA hardware/software, networks, and databases to ensure reliable plant performance.

The role emphasizes cyber security compliance, data integrity, and participation in emergency coverage. Some night/weekend work and travel to remote sites are required.

Qualifications

• BS in Engineering or 5+ years of related experience.
• Experience with water/wastewater plants and systems preferred.
• PLC/HMI systems experience required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and troubleshoot control systems for surface water and wastewater facilities.
• Ensure compliance with Veolia and regulatory cyber security rules.
• Develop preventative maintenance for instrumentation and control devices.
• Manage data acquisition and ensure data quality for operations.
• Support SCADA upgrade projects and remote facility operations.
