Job summary

SOLV Energy, a national provider of infrastructure services for the power sector, seeks an EPC SCADA Project Manager II to oversee utility-scale solar and BESS projects. You will manage scope, schedule, budget, and risk while coordinating Owners, vendors, and internal teams to deliver on time and within budget.

Remote/hybrid work with in-office presence in San Diego, CA or Bend, OR is available.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of project management experience on utility-scale PV solar or similar.
• General knowledge of SCADA system design, setup, commissioning, and support.
• Demonstrated ability to manage cost budgets and project resources.
• Proven skills in issue escalation, conflict resolution, and risk mitigation.
• Experience with scheduling software (Oracle P6, Microsoft Project).
• Proficient use of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint, Power BI.
• Experience with task management tools (MS Teams, Smartsheet, Asana, Jira).
• Working knowledge of ERP systems for project cost management, forecasting, and reporting (e.g., CMiC).
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Independently manage SCADA scope, schedule, and budget for EPC projects of moderate complexity.
• Interpret SCADA contract requirements and ensure alignment with contractual terms and SOLV standards.
• Serve as primary contact for Owners, vendors, subcontractors, and internal SOLV teams.
• Coordinate cross-functional project teams and ensure alignment with project goals.
• Lead procurement and contract execution activities, including scope coordination and material procurement.
• Work with field teams to ensure timely installation of SCADA components.
• Lead system design reviews, commissioning activities, and FAT events.
• Develop and manage project schedules to protect critical milestones.
• Prepare and manage monthly cost reporting and forecasting.
