Job summary

PPG is seeking a Commercial Sales Territory Manager to drive sales growth and manage customer relationships in a designated territory, focusing on commercial refinish products including fleet and industrial coatings. You will cover the South Carolina region, oversee accounts and distributors, and expand market share through strategic plans and technical expertise.

You will travel up to 50%, mentor junior staff, and utilize PPG’s FAVR program for cost-effective vehicle expenses.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
6+ years of experience in commercial coatings sales.
Technical knowledge of industrial coatings and application processes.
Experience in sales, negotiation, and relationship management.
Must possess a valid driver's license, access to a personal vehicle and pass MVR review.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement comprehensive territory business plans for fleet and industrial markets.
Grow sales across direct and distributor accounts.
Establish and maintain relationships with distributors, providing training and support.
Identify, prospect, and convert new leads within both sales channels.
Collaborate with sales teams to align strategies and achieve targets.
Lead joint customer visits and opportunity reviews with distributors.
Deliver product presentations, conduct training sessions, and use digital sales tools.
Use CRM to manage sales activities.
Travel up to 50% to support goals.
