Job summary

City National Bank of Florida is seeking an SBA Business Development Officer to drive SBA 7a, 504, and USDA loan growth and deposit expansion in the local market. You will pursue and service potential and existing clients, building a strong portfolio through strategic outreach and referrals.

The role emphasizes presenting tailored proposals, expanding the COI base, and coordinating with internal teams to ensure timely loan closings and favorable outcomes for clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
• 2-4 years experience in SBA 7a & 504 lending or related sales.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Drive SBA loan and deposit growth, pursuing new clients and opportunities.
• Develop and manage a diverse business portfolio with relationships.
• Deliver tailored presentations addressing client needs.
• Educate clients on underwriting guidelines and SBA programs.
• Work with attorneys, closers, and staff to ensure timely loan closing.
