Busey Bank's SBA Business Development Officer II is a revenue-driven sales professional responsible for originating SBA lending opportunities across an assigned market and a broad multi-state footprint. You will serve as the SBA subject matter expert for internal banking teams and collaborate with internal partners to deliver comprehensive financial solutions.

You will build a robust pipeline, partner with COIs and bank partners, and guide borrowers through SBA loan programs (7(a), 504, Capline,

Qualifications

• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Strong sales, customer service, and negotiating skills.
• Knowledge of Small Business Administration Loan Programs.
• Experience moving loans through origination to closing.
• Ability to develop referral sources and submit opportunities.
• Team oriented and quick learner.

Responsabilités

• Build and maintain a strong referral network to generate SBA lending opportunities.
• Act as SBA subject matter expert within assigned markets.
• Partner with internal bankers to support client conversations and SBA questions.
• Drive relationship growth including deposits, treasury and wealth management solutions.
• Promote SBA capabilities and brand within the community and industries.
• Guide borrowers through SBA loan programs and financing options.
• Collaborate with credit partners during underwriting.
• Work with underwriting and closing teams to move transactions through the loan lifecycle.
• Develop and execute marketing strategies to generate SBA lending opportunities.
• Identify and pursue new business through outreach, events, COIs.
• Maintain a pipeline, submitting 1-2 new opportunities per month.
