Sur La Table in the United States invites a Chef Instructor, Savory to join our in-store team. You will be the in-store expert, sharing savory cooking techniques and personalized instruction to inspire love for cooking while supporting company initiatives and driving sales of cookware and kitchen tools.

You will lead hands-on classes, maintain high standards, stay current on products, and deliver exceptional customer experiences.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older at time of employment.
• Degree in culinary arts preferred; extensive culinary experience may be considered in lieu of formal education.
• 1-2 years of kitchen operations experience.
• Valid Food Manager Certification.

Responsibilities

• Represent the brand with memorable, educational savory cooking experiences.
• Deliver in-store savory cooking classes following recipes and game plans.
• Explain technical cooking concepts in a clear, approachable manner.
• Drive class enrollment and retail sales through engaging instruction.
• Ensure food safety compliance and proper handling of kitchen tools.
