Sur La Table, a premier culinary retailer, seeks a Chef Instructor, Savory to lead hands-on savory cooking classes in-store. You will share techniques, recipes, and culinary insights to inspire guests and drive sales of cookware, cutlery, and kitchen tools.

You will also maintain high standards of service, engage customers with expert demonstrations, and collaborate with team members to deliver consistent class experiences that reflect our brand mission.

Qualifications

• 21+ years of age or older
• 1–2 years of kitchen operations experience
• Valid Food Manager Certification
• Clear communication, problem-solving and decision-making abilities

Responsibilities

• Represent Sur La Table’s brand and culture by creating memorable, educational experiences.
• Deliver in-store savory cooking classes that drive sales and customer engagement.
• Explain technical cooking concepts clearly and in an encouraging manner.
• Maintain product knowledge and participate in training to stay current.
• Assist with setup, prep, and cleanup of classes.
• Ensure food safety, sanitation, and proper handling of all tools and ingredients.
