Job summary

Sur La Table is seeking a Chef Instructor, Savory to lead in-store savory cooking classes, share expertise, and inspire customers while driving cookware and kitchen tool sales. You will deliver hands-on instruction, maintain high standards, and stay current with products and training materials.

This role offers part-time hours with a flexible schedule including nights and weekends. The position focuses on customer education, brand representation, and contributing to sales goals through engaging

Qualifications

21 years of age or older at time of employment.
Degree in culinary arts preferred; extensive culinary experience may be considered in lieu.
1–2 years of kitchen operations experience.
Valid Food Manager Certification.
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.

Responsibilities

Represent Sur La Table’s brand by creating memorable in-store culinary experiences.
Deliver savory cooking classes, ensuring high enrollment and positive reviews.
Explain technical cooking concepts clearly and engagingly.
Stay current on products and training materials to maintain expertise.
Support store readiness through class setup and clean-up.
