Qualifications

• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
• A degree in culinary arts is preferred; however, extensive culinary experience may substitute.
• 1–2 years of kitchen operations experience.

Responsibilities

• Represent Sur La Table’s brand and culture by creating memorable, educational experiences.
• Deliver in-store savory cooking classes and follow recipes to ensure consistency and quality.
• Communicate technical cooking concepts in a clear, encouraging manner.
• Maintain expertise by staying current on products and participating in training.
• Drive class revenue by high enrollment and positive guest reviews.
• Ensure safety and proper operation of kitchen equipment.
