Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older at the time of employment.
• 1-2 years of kitchen operations experience.
• Valid Food Manager Certification is required.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
• Passion for community engagement and providing exceptional customer experiences.

Responsibilities

• Represent Sur La Table’s brand with memorable, educational experiences for customers.
• Deliver savory in-store classes reflecting the brand’s standards and recipes.
• Explain technical cooking concepts in a clear, approachable way.
• Stay current on products through training and self-guided learning.
• Assist in class setup, breakdown, and maintaining kitchen readiness.
• Ensure compliance with safety, sanitation, and store policies.
