HMSHost Corporation in Chicago O'Hare Airport is seeking a Sautee Cook to prepare saute9s and operate Fry, Flat Top Griddle, Pantry, and eggs, communicating with the manager on duty and servers to ensure timely service. This non-exempt role reports to the Store/General Manager depending on location.

Requires at least 1 year of cooking experience, knowledge of HACCP, ability to lift up to 40 lbs, and experience in a high-volume or fast casual setting.

Qualifications

• Requires food preparation skills and knowledge of HACCP standards.
• Requires a minimum of 1 year of closely related cooking experience, high-volume or fast casual dining environment preferred.
• Requires knowledge of soups, saute9, broiler, fry, and pantry.
• Ability to read, understand, and follow policy documents and communicate with supervisors and teammates.
• Able to lift and/or move up to 40 lbs.
• Ability to bend, twist, and stand for long periods to perform job functions.
• Hands frequently immersed in water and chemical solutions.
• Frequent use of sharp knives, utensils, and hot plates; work in a hot environment.

Responsabilités

• Follows recipes and product directions for preparing and cooking items.
• Tastes products, follows menus, estimates quantities, and plans production needs.
• Cleans and sanitizes work stations and equipment.
• Maintains HACCP standards and food safety practices.
• Operates kitchen equipment; measures and mixes ingredients, washes, peels, cuts, and shreds fruits and vegetables.
• Stocks, dates, rotates, and checks temperature of products.
