Job summary

Avolta is hiring at Chicago Airport for a Sautee Cook role. The cook prepares sautés and supports all station functions, communicating with the manager on duty to ensure timely service and quality.

This non-exempt position reports to the Store Manager or General Manager depending on local requirements. Applicants should have at least 1 year of cooking experience, knowledge of HACCP, and the ability to lift up to 40 lbs.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of closely related cooking experience.
• Knowledge of HACCP standards and safe food handling.
• Ability to follow recipes and kitchen directions precisely.
• Ability to lift/move up to 40 lbs.
• Must communicate ticket times and any issues to managers.

Responsibilities

• Prepare sautés and assist with Fry, Flat Top Griddle, Pantry, and eggs.
• Follow recipes and product directions for items including soups, meats, vegetables, and desserts.
• Communicate production needs and monitor yields and inventory.
• Maintain clean and sanitized stations and equipment.
• Ensure high quality service for customers and team members.
