Job summary

CesiumAstro is seeking a Staff Communication Systems Modeling & Simulation engineer to lead design, development, integration, and validation of advanced communications systems for satellites and airborne platforms.

You will apply systems engineering principles to drive complex development efforts from concept through verification and production, coordinating with systems, software, RF, electrical, mechanical, and test teams to deliver robust solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or higher in an engineering field with extensive systems engineering experience.
• Advanced knowledge of communications systems and interface management.
• Proficiency with modeling, simulation tools, and engineering analysis methods.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and development of communications system architectures and performance models.
• Guide system modeling, link analysis, and architecture trade studies across programs.
• Develop solutions satisfying product, customer, and interoperability requirements.
