CesiumAstro is seeking a Staff Communication Systems Modeling & Simulation expert to lead design, development, integration and validation of advanced communications systems for space and airborne platforms. You will apply advanced systems engineering to drive architecture trade studies, performance modeling, and verification across multiple programs.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in a related engineering field with 8–12 years of experience, or advanced degrees with corresponding experience.
• Advanced knowledge of communications systems, systems engineering principles, system architecture, requirements development, and interface management.
• Proficiency in modeling, simulation, and engineering analysis methods.
• Experience with DOORS, Jira, Confluence or equivalent tools.

Responsabilidades

• Lead the design and development of communications system architectures, interfaces, subsystems, and performance models.
• Guide system modeling, link analysis, performance evaluation, trade studies, simulation, and system integration across programs.
• Develop architectures and solutions that satisfy product, customer, performance, and interoperability requirements.
• Lead modeling and simulation workflow improvements and automation opportunities.
• Conduct verification, validation, testing, simulation, and integration activities across programs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure system performance and reliability.
• Prepare technical documentation, interface control documents, and engineering reports.
• Lead design reviews, investigations, and customer technical discussions.
