CesiumAstro is seeking a Staff Communication Systems Modeling & Simulation expert to lead design, development, integration, and validation of communications systems for space platforms. You will apply advanced systems engineering to drive complex development efforts from concept to production.

In collaboration with systems, software, RF, electrical, mechanical, and test teams, you will steer modeling, verification, and performance optimization while promoting engineering best practices

Qualifications

• Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in an engineering field with extensive systems engineering experience.
• Advanced knowledge of communications systems, system architecture, and requirements management.
• Proficiency in modeling, simulation, and engineering analysis methods.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and validation of communications system architectures and models.
• Guide system modeling, performance evaluation, and trade studies across programs.
• Develop technical solutions satisfying requirements, interoperability, and customer needs.
• Promote standardized modeling and simulation processes across product lines.
