Job summary

CesiumAstro, Inc. is seeking a Communication Systems Engineer Modeling & Simulation II to design and test communications systems supporting satellites and airborne platforms.

You will apply systems engineering principles to develop solutions, improve performance, and resolve challenges across the product lifecycle. The role involves cross-functional collaboration with systems, software, RF, electrical, mechanical, integration and test, quality, and program teams from concept through verification

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 2–5 years in communications systems engineering, system architecture, RF systems, or related field.
• Experience with modeling, analysis, simulation tools, and engineering analysis methods.
• Familiarity with digital communications, RF fundamentals, networking concepts, and system integration.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop communications system architectures, interfaces, subsystems, and performance models.
• Conduct system modeling, link analysis, performance evaluation, trade studies, simulation, and integration activities.
• Review requirements, interface specs, architecture docs, and analytical results for system implementation.
