Job summary

EY is seeking a Manager in Data Management and Strategy to transform data into a strategic asset for clients. You will lead workstreams, engage daily with clients, identify opportunities, and guide engagement economics while mentoring teams to deliver innovative data solutions.

You will work across SAP and non-SAP landscapes, driving governance, data quality, and maturity assessments in a client-focused environment.

Qualifications

• A bachelor’s degree (4-year degree).
• Typically, 4–6+ years of hands-on SAP data transformation experience, including SAP MDG, Data Migration, or Data Governance initiatives, with participation in one or more full-cycle SAP ECC or S/4HANA implementations.
• Experience across SAP data management disciplines, including Data Migration, Master Data Management (MDG), Data Governance, Data Quality, Data Analytics, and related enterprise data management capabilities.
• Strong understanding of the SAP S/4HANA data model and simplification impacts, with hands-on experience supporting SAP ECC to SAP S/4HANA data and system migrations.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including client-facing presentations, workshop facilitation, and technical documentation.
• Proven experience leading SAP data workstreams or projects and managing cross-functional, project-based teams.
• Knowledge of leading practices and advisory experience supporting business and technology transformation initiatives.
• A flexibility and willingness to travel to meet client needs; travel is estimated at 40-60%.

Responsibilities

• Develop solutions to complex problems, recommending changes to policies and establishing procedures that affect immediate work areas.
• Exercise judgment in selecting methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria for obtaining results.
• Manage project status and deliverable completion while ensuring effective risk management.
