Job summary

EY seeks an SAP IS-U FI-CA Functional Manager to lead end-to-end FI-CA design and delivery for utilities clients. You will own the FI-CA workstream, define functional approaches, align receivables and payments with business policies, and ensure integration across SAP IS-U.

You\'ll lead functional teams, collaborate with Finance, Revenue Operations, Customer Care, and IT partners to drive solution quality, testing, deployment, and operational readiness, while traveling 40-60% as needed.

Qualifications

• Deep functional knowledge of SAP IS-U FI-CA and utility financial processes.
• Experience leading a FI-CA functional workstream or team.
• Ability to translate requirements into scalable FI-CA designs.
• Experience with end-to-end FI-CA design, testing, deployment, and stabilization.

Responsibilities

• Owning the FI-CA workstream, including scope, target processes, solution decisions, delivery plans, quality, risks, and outcomes from requirements and blueprint through deployment and post-go-live stabilization.
• Defining and governing the functional design for receivables, payments, clearing, collections, dunning, refunds, deposits, write-offs, and related financial controls.
• Leading requirements gathering, fit-gap assessments, solution workshops, and design reviews to translate requirements into FI-CA solutions.
• Driving integration and reconciliation design across SAP IS-U Billing, Customer Service, Retail Choice, banks and payment providers, collection agencies, tax solutions, and SAP FI/CO General Ledger.
• Establishing and governing FI-CA financial controls, posting and reconciliation processes, ensuring auditability.
• Managing cross-workstream dependencies to ensure alignment across end-to-end utility processes.
• Developing and overseeing functional specifications, solution documentation, and design decisions for FI-CA workstream.
• Leading and coaching FI-CA functional consultants and coordinating technical partners.
• Overseeing end-to-end testing and defect resolution for payments, clearing, collections, postings, period close, and high-volume FI-CA processing.
• Managing scope, estimates, risks, and stakeholder decisions with clear communication to leadership.
• Leading cutover and post-go-live stabilization activities.
• Building trusted relationships with client stakeholders and providing guidance on FI-CA capabilities and transformation priorities.
