Job summary

EY is seeking an SAP IS-U FI-CA Functional Manager to lead end-to-end FI-CA design and delivery for utility clients. You will own the FI-CA workstream, align receivables and payments with business policies, and ensure integration across SAP IS-U solutions.

You will collaborate with Finance, Revenue Operations, and Customer Care, guiding functional teams, defining design, and ensuring quality, controls, and operational readiness for deployment across multiple US offices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; SAP IS-U FI-CA functional experience strongly preferred.
• Typically 4–6 years in SAP IS-U or SAP Utilities with 3+ years leading a functional workstream.
• Experience owning SAP IS-U FI-CA design and delivery through implementation and stabilization.
• Experience across FI-CA elements: receivables, payments, clearing, collections, dunning, refunds, deposits, write-offs, and controls.

Responsibilities

• Own the SAP IS-U FI-CA workstream from requirements through deployment and post-go-live stabilization.
• Define functional design for receivables, payments, clearing, collections, dunning, and related controls.
• Lead workshops, fit-gap analyses, and design reviews translating business requirements into FI-CA designs.
• Drive integration and reconciliation design across SAP IS-U Billing, Customer Service, and FI/CO components.
• Establish FI-CA financial controls and posting/reconciliation processes for auditability.
• Coordinate cross-workstream dependencies to ensure end-to-end alignment of utility processes.
• Develop functional specifications, documentation, and configuration standards.
• Lead FI-CA consultants and coordinate with technical/integration partners.
• Oversee end-to-end testing, defect resolution, and cutover readiness.
